During my time at Random International, I led a variety of projects spanning across the public sector, private commissions, and exhibitions and museums, which took me all around the world, from Detroit and London to Jeddah and Shanghai.
As a design engineer at Random International, I worked on the development of rich multi-sensorial human experiences in the realm of contemporary arts. I spent my days running between my computer and the workshop, researching / building / testing / failing / building / ∞ to transform ideas from early napkin sketches into finished artworks. My process involved conceptual renderings, material and technological research, prototyping, mechanical analyses and FEA, detailed design for manufacture, production and on-site installation. Working closely with talented designers and technologist, I led multiple concurrent projects while managing liaisons with clients and all contractors involved.
Below are snippets of some of those projects, and you can find more on Random's website.
